Winter Newsletter

Snow, snow, snow. Where did our fall go?  his may mean more time for stitching.

Oct 22 the guild will be celebrating it's 20th Anniversary with an afternoon filled with memories and visiting of past and present members.

Thanks to the ladies on the committee for making this happen.

It was exciting to see at our September meeting the summer challenge pieces and how each one was different by choosing different threads and

everyone using the same pattern.  Also good to see a lot of our UFO's finished.

November 5 & 6 is our fall workshop with Lorene Salt doing a canvas piece called Autumn Kaleidoscope. This will be a fun weekend as we all look forward to learning new techniques in canvas work and then there is usually the extra shopping that goes along with a workshop. Thanks Pixie for all your hard work.

Our Saturday stitch in's at Sobey's have been bringing out quite a few of our members and a few other ladies. Always a fun day with lots of discussions and seeing what everyone is working on. If you haven't had the chance to join us come and see just how much stitching we can get done.

Eileen has another interesting project fo us to work on over the year. I am not sure how she finds so many interesting projects. This is a great way to learn new stitches for future projects. Thanks Eileen.

I would like to welcome the new members to BCNG
